I only work in Folsom a few days every week, but every December I make a point to stop in at Dorothea's and buy a few Christmas ornaments to add to our family collection. Every year I find something new and interesting. It's a great store with great people working there.

Stumbled upon this cute shop while visiting family. And amidst their holiday decor we found these Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) color changing lights. They're perfect! The shop, the workers and people visiting the store are all very friendly, welcoming and joyous. It's a beautiful store that will lift your spirits! PS. 3/21/24- I found this place while walking down Sutter St. The employee was busy helping customers but she makes you feel welcomed. I walked around and had a good time looking at all the Christmas items. I'm here for work but I'm sure my wife would find something as they have a lot to choose from. I shop for magnets, which they had but felt they were too steep even for California. Still if you're here to visit stop by. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

We go every year to pick out ornaments for our grandchildren. So many fun and beautiful items. It's Christmas all year around in the store. They also have a great selection of Fiesta dinnerware, department 54 villages, and so much more!

There is so much to see inside this not so little shop!!!! Every theme you can think of to decorate your Christmas tree or hang anywhere! I love the idea of creating a sweet tree with all the different candies and sweets ornaments! Could spend hours in here!! Found these booklets that are all about your birth year. What a great little gift to give someone!

Lots and lots of Christmas decorations and Ornaments. (Many are glass) They also have "Halloween " ornaments as well as colored plates and bowls. Cute little "old time" shop. Love it! Be prepared to spend an average of $9.99 + per ornament.

Our family has been going to Dorotheas every Christmas season for 27 years without fail! Each of us picks out an ornament that represents our year. We keep a journal of what each one choose amd why. It is such a great joy to go through them each Christmas, remember each of our lives, the ups and downs, and see God's faithfulness to us all over the years. Our kids are in their mid 20's now and we have more ornaments than our tree can handle but we wouldn't miss this treat ever! It's the highlight of our family traditions! We LOVE this store and hope it goes on forever. God bless!
